Anderson K's 6 in 5 innings in rehab start

DENVER -- Rockies lefty struck out six and gave up one run in five innings in an injury rehab start for Triple-A Albuquerque at Sacramento on Sunday afternoon.
Seeing his first action since May 30 -- before the Rockies placed him on the 10-day disabled list with left knee inflammation -- Anderson threw strikes on 51 of his 77 pitches in the 1-0 loss.
The run occurred in the second inning, when led off with a double and scored on 's sacrifice fly with the bases loaded. Anderson rebounded to strike out and to end the frame.
Anderson is 3-5 with a 5.85 ERA in 11 Major League starts.
Also, righty (0-0, 4.38 ERA in three Major League starts this season), who suffered a navicular stress fracture in his left foot April 13, will start Monday for Albuquerque at Sacramento. It's the second rehab start for Gray, who struck out five and gave up four hits in four innings for Class A Lancaster against Lake Elsinore on Wednesday.
