The Pittsburgh Pirates today recalled right-handed pitcher Clay Holmes from Triple-A Indianapolis. 
To make room for Holmes on the 25-man active roster, right-handed pitcher Michael Feliz has been placed on the 10-day disabled list with right shoulder inflammation.
Holmes went 6-3 with a 3.39 ERA (66.1ip/25er) and 71 strikeouts in 13 games (12 starts) this season with Indianapolis, including a 4-0 record and 0.71 ERA (25.1ip/2er) in his four starts this month. He also made one appearance earlier this season with the Pirates, making his Major League debut on April 6 vs. Cincinnati.
