The Pittsburgh Pirates today recalled right-handed pitcher Clay Holmes from Triple-A Indianapolis.
To make room for Holmes on the 25-man active roster, outfielder Jordan Luplow has been optioned to Triple-A. 
In addition, right-handed pitcher Casey Sadler has been outrighted to Indianapolis.
