ARLINGTON -- Rangers second baseman Rougned Odor, who was back in the lineup on Friday night despite a contusion on his left hand, went 3-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored and two RBIs in a 10-0 win over the Angels.
Odor has hit in nine straight games, going 12-for-31 with five home runs.
"It's really sore, but when I got out there, I didn't care about it," Odor said. "I'm still going to give it 100 percent at the plate."
Odor is back, but Joey Gallo remains day to day with a sore left hamstring.
Both had to come out of Wednesday's game against the Red Sox because of their issues. That's why the Rangers optioned pitcher Nick Martinez to Triple-A Round Rock and recalled utility player Drew Robinson for Friday's series opener against the Angels.
"We were a player away from having a pitcher playing the field," manager Jeff Banister said.

Friday marked the third time in the last two weeks that Gallo has been out of the lineup because of his sore hamstring. Banister said Gallo is available off the bench.
"What it is, it's down lower behind the knee," Banister said. "It's more precautionary than anything else."
The arrival of Robinson gives the Rangers three utility players along with Jurickson Profar and Pete Kozma. The club will make another move on Saturday when Elvis Andrus returns from paternity leave.
Odor left Wednesday's game after getting hit by a pitch. But he was able to pass a strength test on Friday and took batting practice in the cage.
Perez likely to lead off post-break
The Rangers aren't likely to use Martin Perez in the bullpen this weekend against the Angels unless there is an emergency. Instead, the club wants Perez to get ready for his next start, which will likely be the first game after the All-Star break against the Royals in Kansas City.
Right now, the tentative plan is for Perez, Cole Hamels and Yu Darvish to start the first three games after the break. Andrew Cashner and Tyson Ross would then follow against the Orioles.
The Rangers have added Austin Bibens-Dirkx to the bullpen. He has been used as a starter in five of his past six games, but right now, he is serving as the long reliever.

• Shin-Soo Choo was hit by the first pitch from Red Sox pitcher Doug Fister in the first inning on Wednesday night. It's the third time since 1988 that a Rangers batter has been hit by the first pitch in the first inning. It happened twice to Ian Kinsler.
• Right-hander A.J. Griffin, on the disabled with a strained left intercostal strain, had an on-field batting practice session rained out on Friday. Instead, he did his throwing in the bullpen.
• Reliever Keone Kela, on the disabled list with right shoulder soreness, is playing catch, but he is not yet throwing off a mound.
