Cain, Bueno progressing during rehab stints

KANSAS CITY -- Center fielder Lorenzo Cain and left-handed pitcher Francisley Bueno made injury rehabilitation appearances in Triple-A Omaha's 4-2 victory over Oklahoma City on Saturday night.

Cain, out with a left groin strain, played center field for the first time after being a designated hitter the previous game. He went hitless again and was 0-for-7 after two games.

Bueno, getting over a finger sprain, pitched one scoreless inning with two strikeouts. He gave up one hit.

Left-hander John Lamb got his first victory for Omaha, holding the RedHawks to two runs in 5 1/3 innings. Second baseman Johnny Giavotella's two RBIs gave him 201 in his four years at Omaha, the 12th player in franchise history to reach 200 RBIs.
