Omaha Storm Chasers

The Storm Chasers received a strong start from Will Smith, though they eventually lost in 10 innings. Smith scattered five hits and two walks while fanning eight over six shutout stanzas. Chad Tracy crossed the plate on an error in the second, giving Omaha a 1-0 lead. The lead stood until the eighth, when Alex Castellanos homered off of Dan Wheeler. Albuquerque scored two more in the 10th against Coleman.
NW Arkansas Naturals
Frisco 14, NW Arkansas 7

HR: Whit Merrifield (1), Matt Fields (2)
Frisco scored 14 unanswered runs after the Naturals plated seven in the second. Merrifield put Northwest Arkansas on the board with a three-run homer. Brett Eibner, Orlando Calixte and Rey Navarro walked, setting the stage for a grand slam by Fields. Frisco responded with nine runs against Adam in 2 2/3 innings.
Wilmington Blue Rocks
Wilmington 4, Carolina 3

Wilmington earned a second consecutive 4-3 win over Carolina. Danny Mateo tripled home Lane Adams to tie the game at 3-3, then scored the go-ahead tally on a grounder by Kenny Diekroeger. Jorge Bonifacio joined Adams and Mateo with two hits. Sam Selman, the Royals' second-round Draft pick in 2012, allowed two runs on four hits and four walks over four innings.
Lexington Legends
Augusta 2, Lexington 1

Lexington dropped a second straight at Augusta. Brickhouse scattered two runs on six hits and a walk over six innings. Adalberto Mondesi singled and recorded the Legends' lone RBI on a sac fly. The series concludes Wednesday with a morning start.
