Omaha was swept in a four-game set at Iowa. Yordano Ventura (5.1 IP, 8 H, 4 ER, 1 BB, 5 SO) allowed two runs in the first and two in the sixth. Carlos Pena hit a two-run homer in his Omaha debut. The veteran first baseman finished 1-for-3 plus a walk. Pedro Ciriaco recorded two hits in three trips. The Storm Chasers dropped into a tie with Memphis for first place in the division. Omaha will have to win the title outright as Memphis won the season series.

Northwest Arkansas moved to 3-0 in a four-game series vs. Tulsa. Ryan Verdugo scattered four hits while fanning five over 5.0 innings. Jon Keck, Sam Runion, Scott Alexander and Zach Jackson followed with an inning apiece. Matt Fields tripled home Lane Adams in the second, then singled to score Adams in the seventh.
Wilmington Blue Rocks (28-39 2nd half, 61-76 overall)

Wilmington split a pair of seven-inning games. Myrtle Beach scored all three runs in the sixth inning of game one. Louis Coleman worked a 1-2-3 seventh with a strikeout. Sam Selman fanned eight over 5.0 shutout innings in game two. Micah Gibbs delivered an RBI double in the fourth, scoring Yem Prades.
Lexington Legends (35-31 2nd half, 68-66 overall)
Augusta 5, Lexington 4
LP: Clayton Schulz (3-4)
Lexington scored three in the sixth to build a 4-1 lead, only to have Augusta plate four in the home half. Georgia native Crawford Simmons held the Green Jackets to an unearned run, two hits and two walks over 4.0 innings. 2013 first-round pick Hunter Dozier was 3-for-5 with a double and two runs. He's batting .320 (16-for-50) since joining Lexington.
Idaho Falls Chukars (17-11 2nd half, 36-30 overall)
Idaho Falls 1, Grand Junction 0

Humberto Arteaga's sac fly in the eighth scored Carlos Garcia as Idaho Falls edged Grand Junction. Arteaga now leads the league with 53 RBI. Starter Jonathan Dziedzic held the Rockies to two hits and no walks over 5.0 innings. Andrew Brockett worked 3.0 innings for the win.
Burlington Royals (29-37)

Burlington won a second straight at Johnson City and could finish the season with a sweep tonight. Sam Lewis limited the Cards to an unearned run and two hits over 7.0 innings. Alfredo Escalera recorded three hits and two RBI. Desmond Henry added two hits, two runs and his league-leading 20th stolen base.
