Omaha Storm Chasers (44-52)

Justin Marks and Kelvin Herrera combined to blank Round Rock as Omaha moved to 2-1 in the series. Marks limited the Express to six hits and three walks over 7.0 innings. Herrera pitched the final 2.0 frames, striking out three and hitting a batter. Max Ramirez played a part in both runs, finishing 3-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run.

NW Arkansas Naturals (11-11 2nd half, 36-56 overall)

HR: Brett Eibner 2 (10, 11)

Northwest Arkansas finished 1-3 vs. Springfield as the Cardinals scored six runs over the final three innings. Starter Aaron Brooks (7.0 IP, 4 H, 5 ER, 2 BB, 3 SO) allowed a homer in the first, then held Springfield hitless until the seventh, when they plated four runs. Brett Eibner was 4-for-5 with two solo homers and two doubles. Brian Fletcher added three hits, an RBI and a run.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (13-8 2nd half, 46-45 overall)

Wilmington 2, Lynchburg 1 (11 innings)

HR: None

Wilmington earned a walk-off win by plating a pair of two-out runs in the 11th. Jack Lopez tied the game by driving home Lane Adams. Alex McClure followed with a single, scoring Tyler Chism. Starter Sam Selman scattered two hits and three walks over 7.1 scoreless stanzas. Malcom Culver worked the final 3.2 innings, allowing a run but no hits.

Lexington Legends (12-9 2nd half, 45-44 overall)

Delmarva 8, Lexington 1
LP: Leonel Santiago (1-1)
HR: None

Lexington was held to one hit through eight innings in a home loss. Bubba Starling led off the ninth with a single, moved to second on a wild pitch and scored on Mark Donato's single. Leonel Santiago took his first loss in four outings, allowing six runs and nine hits over 5.1 innings.

Idaho Falls Chukars (9-14)

Idaho Falls 6, Missoula 2

HR: Hunter Dozier (2)

Idaho Falls led wire-to-wire in an opening win at Missoula. 2013 first-round pick Hunter Dozier hit a solo home run in the first. Cody Stubbs added two hits and two runs. Starter Jonathan Dziedzic scattered four hits over 4.0 shutout innings. Yender Caramo followed with 4.1 innings, allowing two runs (one earned).

Burlington Royals (11-7)

Kingsport at Burlington -- Postponed

The B-Royals have had a suspended game and three postponements over the past four days. They are scheduled to play an unusual split doubleheader in two locations today. The first contest is scheduled for noon Eastern on a turf surface at Wake Forest Baseball Park in Winston-Salem. The clubs will then make an hour-long trip to play the nightcap in Burlington at 6:00 p.m.

Surprise Royals (7-13)

AZL Diamondbacks 7, Surprise 4
LP: Greg Billo (0-2)
HR: Brawlun Gomez (2)

Surprise let a 4-0 lead slip away in the second half of a home-and-home. Samir Duenez led the Royals with four hits and two RBI. He's batting .351 (26-for-74) on the year. Lee's Summit North grad Brandon Dulin recorded two hits, including an RBI triple. Alfredo Patino also had two hits, including an RBI triple, boosting his average to .394 (13-for-34).
