The Storm Chasers slugged their way to an opening win at Nashville. Anthony Seratelli and Brett Hayes hit solo homers in the second. Hayes added a three-run shot in a six-run third. Jarrod Dyson had the best game of his rehab assignment, going 3-for-3 with two walks, two runs and four stolen bases. Danny Duffy, also on a rehab assignment, allowed seven runs on seven hits and two walks over 2.1 innings.

NW Arkansas Naturals (20-41)

Northwest Arkansas moved to 3-0 in a four-game set against the Travelers. Mitch Canham's two-run double capped a four-run third, giving Northwest Arkansas a 5-4 lead. Matt Fields added two hits and two RBI. J.C. Sulbaran tossed 4.0 scoreless innings for the relief win. Zach Jackson (1.0 IP, 2 H, 1 ER) notched his third save in as many days. Felipe Paulino is scheduled to make his first rehab start tonight.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (31-33)

Wilmington allowed eight to score in the first inning of an opening loss at Salem. Sam Selman exited without retiring a batter. He was charged with eight runs (five earned) on four hits, two walks plus two Wilmington errors. Jared Schlehuber posted a single and a walk. He is batting .393 (22-for-56) on the road.

Terrance Gore's two-out, two-run single in the seventh lifted Lexington to an opening win over Rome. Bubba Starling's solo shot in the fourth narrowed the gap to 2-1. Daniel Stumpf scattered two runs on two hits and a walk over 7.0 innings.
