Omaha Storm Chasers (32-31)

The Storm Chasers lost a back-and-forth game on a walk-off in the 13th. Paulo Orlando's two-run homer gave Omaha a 2-0 lead in the sixth. Vinny Rottino tied the game with a two-run shot in the home half off of Yohan Pino (6 IP, 7 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, 3 K). Brett Eibner's two-run single put Omaha on top 4-2 in the 12th. New Orleans once again knotted the score in the home half.

NW Arkansas Naturals (36-25)

HR: Lane Adams 2 (3,4 with NW Arkansas, 7,8 overall)

An eighth-inning homer by Lane Adams lifted the Naturals to an opening win over their in-state rivals. Adams also hit a solo homer in the third. Bubba Starling tied the game at 2-2 with an RBI single in the seventh. Balbino Fuenmayor added two doubles and a run. Matt Murray tossed five scoreless innings for the win in relief of Miguel Almonte (4 IP, 5 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, 1 K).

Wilmington Blue Rocks (34-28)

Wilmington lost a pitchers' duel on a walk-off single by Salem's Mario Martinez. Alec Mills posted eight scoreless innings for the Blue Rocks, allowing four hits while striking out four with no walks. He has a 2.62 ERA on the year (20 ER in 68 2/3 innings), striking out 68 while walking 10. Carlos Garcia doubled and tripled. He's batting .295 (18-for-61) since a promotion from Lexington.

Lexington Legends (28-34)

Lexington 6, Greensboro 5

HR: None

Lexington held on for a second straight win over the Grasshoppers. Scott Blewett, second-round pick in the 2014 Draft, fanned seven over five innings, allowing two runs. Wander Franco and Corey Toups posted two RBIs apiece.
