Omaha was held scoreless in a pair of seven-inning games on Sunday. Memphis scored six runs in the second inning of Game 1, with former KC farmhand Jamie Romak hitting a grand slam. Brett Hayes recorded a hit in each game. He is batting .290 (9-for-31) over his last 10 games.

Northwest Arkansas won at home, snapping a seven-game losing streak. Rey Navarro was 3-for-4 with an RBI and two runs. Brett Eibner added two hits and two RBIs. Starter Noel Arguelles allowed two runs on three hits and three walks over 4 1/3 innings. J.C. Sulbaran (2 IP, 2 H, 1 ER, 2 BB, 2 SO) earned his first win and Jon Keck tossed a scoreless ninth for his first save.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (28-28)

Wilmington lost the rubber game at home. Frederick built a 5-0 lead on Jerome Pena's grand slam in the fifth. Kyle Zimmer was charged with five runs on six hits and a walk over six innings. Cheslor Cuthbert posted three hits, including two doubles. Tyler Chism hit his first homer since 2011. He missed last season because of an injury.

Lexington scored three runs in the eighth to complete a four-game sweep at home. Bubba Starling's triple plated Terrance Gore for the go-ahead run. Fred Ford drove Starling home with a double and Michael Antonio added two RBIs. Starter Christian Binford limited Hagerstown to a run over 4 1/3 innings. Aroni Nina (3 1/3 IP, 1 H, 1 ER, 2 BB, 3 SO) picked up the win and Daniel Hernandez notched his second save in as many days. Hernandez, a 12th-round Draft pick in 2010, has a 1.09 ERA in 24 2/3 innings since joining Lexington (3 ER in 24 2/3 IP).
