Omaha Storm Chasers (15-20)

New Orleans 10, Omaha 4

Omaha lost its second straight to New Orleans, dropping to 0-6 this season vs. the Zephyrs. Jason Donald was 2-for-4 with the first Omaha RBI and a run scored. Ciriaco hit his first homer, a three-run shot in the ninth. Michael Mariot made his first appearance since being optioned from Kansas City, striking out two and walking two over 2 2/3 scoreless innings.

NW Arkansas Naturals (14-22)

NW Arkansas 9, Springfield 8
WP: Andrew Triggs (3-0)
HR: Jorge Bonifacio (2), Justin Trapp (3), Orlando Calixte 2 (1, 2)

Calixte hit a walk-off home run as Northwest Arkansas won its third straight to finish 3-1 in the series. KC's No. 9 prospect, according to MLB.com, Calixte was 4-for-5 with two home runs in his second game of the year. Third-ranked prospect Bonifacio belted a grand slam as part of a six-run third inning. He leads the league with 28 RBIs and both of his home runs have been grand slams. Ethan Chapman added three hits and an RBI. Andrew Triggs stranded three inherited runners in the eighth, then used a double play to face the minimum in the ninth. He has a 0.78 ERA through 23 innings (two earned runs).

Wilmington Blue Rocks (15-19)

Lynchburg 5, Wilmington 4
LP: Glenn Sparkman (1-1)
HR: Michael Antonio (one with Wilmington, five overall)

Wilmington lost a second straight one-run contest. Starter Sean Manaea struck out five while allowing four runs, six hits and three walks through 3 1/3 innings. Antonio hit a two-run homer in his High-A debut. He was batting .313 with four home runs and 23 RBIs at the time of his promotion from Lexington. Zane Evans, K.C.'s 16th-ranked prospect, added his 11th double, which tied him for third in the league.

Lexington Legends (15-21)

Lexington 3, Greensboro 2
WP: Matt Alvarez (1-0)

Lexington evened a road series at one game apiece. Both teams scored twice in the fifth, with Lexington moving ahead in the ninth. Carlos Garcia posted two hits and two RBIs, including a go-ahead triple. Starter Matt Tenuta carried a shutout into his final inning, allowing two runs, three hits and two walks along with a strikeout over 4 1/3 innings. Alvarez tossed two scoreless innings for the win.
