Omaha Storm Chasers (17-20)

The Storm Chasers had Wednesday off. They open an nine-game road trip on Thursday night with the first of four contests at Memphis (Cardinals' affiliate).

Northwest Arkansas Naturals (15-23)

NW Arkansas at Arkansas, postponed due to rain

A matinee at North Little Rock was postponed due to rain on Wednesday, and it was rescheduled to be played as part of a doubleheader on Sunday, June 8. The series wraps up Thursday night, with Sam Selman (2-2, 2.83) scheduled to start for the Naturals. He's ranked 12th among Royals prospects by MLB.com.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (17-20)

The Blue Rocks fell short in a bid for a three-game sweep. It was their eighth one-run contest over an 11-game stretch. Royals No. 11 prospect Binford fanned six and walked none, allowing three runs (two earned) over five innings. Ali Williams retired all nine batters he faced, five with strikeouts.

Second baseman Kenny Diekroeger doubled twice and scored a run. Center fielder Bubba Starling, Kansas City's No. 7 prospect, added a double and a run.

Wilmington starts a four-game set at Lynchburg (Braves' affiliate) on Thursday night.

Lexington Legends (18-21)

Lexington won its fourth straight behind seven shutout frames from Rico and at least one RBI from each of the nine batters. Rico fanned five, allowing just two hits and a walk.

Designated hitter Ford and left fielder Chism hit solo shots in the second. Right fielder Hernandez, the Royals' No. 10 prospect, made it 3-0 with a homer in the fourth. Lexington added a run in the fifth, six in the sixth and one in the ninth.
