Omaha Storm Chasers (19-23)

Omaha lost the opener as Nashville's Kevin Mattison hit a walk-off homer in the ninth. The Storm Chasers built a 3-0 lead in the third, starting with a leadoff homer by Melky Mesa. The Sounds scored four unanswered runs before Mesa's second home run knotted the score at 4 in the seventh. Reigning Pacific Coast League Player of the Week Jimmy Paredes added two hits and an RBI. Former Royal Jeremy Jeffress picked up the win in relief for Nashville.

NW Arkansas Naturals (16-27)

HR: None

Northwest Arkansas scored two in the ninth and left the tying run on third in a matinee finale at Tulsa. J.C. Sulbaran struck out three while allowing four runs (two earned), nine hits and two walks over five innings. Noel Arguelles, Wilking Rodriguez and Cody Fassold all completed scoreless innings. Micah Gibbs hit a double while No. 9 prospect Orlando Calixte and Cheslor Cuthbert singled.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (19-22)

Monday was an off-day for the Blue Rocks. They host Carolina (Indians) on Tuesday.

Lexington Legends (21-23)

Lexington 10, Hagerstown 8
WP: Luis Rico (2-4)
HR: Alfredo Escalera (2)

Luis Rico's strong relief outing allowed the Legends to rally for a 10-8 win. Lexington trailed, 8-1, when the righty entered in the fourth. He tossed 5 2/3 scoreless frames, fanning six and yielding one hit. Alfredo Escalera was 3-for-5 with a home run, three RBIs and four runs. Frank Schwindel, Dominique Taylor and Ramon Torres added three hits apiece.
