Omaha Storm Chasers (22-24)

Tacoma moved ahead on a sac fly in the ninth, evening the series at a game apiece. Aaron Brooks fanned seven over 6.0 innings, allowing three runs. Former Storm Chaser Mike Montgomery yielded two runs over 6.0 frames in his first appearance against his original organization. Reymond Fuentes led Omaha with three hits, adding a run and an RBI. Alex Rios went 1-for-4 plus a run in game two of his rehab assignment. Brett Eibner drove in two and stole a base.

NW Arkansas Naturals (29-14)

Corpus Christi 4, NW Arkansas 1
LP: Jonathan Dziedzic (1-3 with NW Arkansas, 1-4 overall)

The top two teams in the Texas League clashed in Springdale, with Corpus Christi taking round one. The game was scoreless until the sixth, when the Hooks plated a pair. Jonathan Dziedzic (5.0 IP+3, 3 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, 3 SO) retired the first 11 batters he faced. Raul Mondesi homered for the third time in his last five games. Miguel Almonte (4-1, 2.92 ERA) is scheduled to start on Wednesday for the Naturals.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (25-18)

The Blue Rocks had Tuesday off after a four-game sweep of Carolina. They'll travel down the beltway to play a doubleheader on Wednesday at Potomac (Nationals).

Lexington Legends (19-26)

Kannapolis 4, Lexington 1
LP: Nik Stephenson (1-3)
HR: None

Lexington dropped to 0-2 in a three-game series. Nik Stephenson held Kannapolis to two runs (one earned) over 6.0 innings, striking out five without a walk. He lowered his ERA to 2.70 (13 ER in 43.1 IP). Seven players recorded singles for Lexington. Alfredo Escalera's single in the first scored Humberto Arteaga for the lone run.
