J.C. Boscan's infield single in the eighth scored Jose Martinez, lifting Omaha to a home win. Martinez had two hits and three RBIs. Casey Kotchman added two hits, including a solo homer, his first since 2012 with Cleveland. Louis Coleman worked three innings for the relief win. A run in the eighth snapped Coleman's 12 2/3-inning scoreless streak.

NW Arkansas Naturals (17-10)

A franchise-best 11-game winning streak was snapped as Northwest Arkansas allowed seven runs in the seventh. The Naturals hit four homers, with each having a unique story line. Dusty Coleman posted a leadoff roundtripper, Mike Bianucci tied for the league lead at seven, Bubba Starling hit his third in as many days and Angel Franco finished a triple away from the cycle.

The Blue Rocks returned to action after two days of postponements, splitting a doubleheader at Potomac. Luis Rico pitched well in game one, limiting Potomac to a run over five innings. Wilmington was held scoreless until the seventh, when Zane Evans singled home Jack Lopez. Wilmington scored three runs in the fourth inning of game two, including a two-run single by Logan Moon. Yender Caramo held the Nats to one run, four hits and no walks with one strikeout over six innings.

The Legends stole eight bases in a home win, with Carlos Garcia and Corey Toups swiping three apiece. Garcia upped his steal total to 18 while Toups scored three runs. Zach Lovvorn held the Yankees to a run and five hits over six innings. He fanned five without a walk.
