Omaha Storm Chasers (22-10)

The Storm Chasers swept a four-game set while extending their home winning streak to 14 games. David Lough capped a six-run third with a grand slam. He has now hit in 17 straight (.358, 24-for-67). Cody Clark reached four times (three singles and a walk) while Terry Evans added two hits, two RBI and two runs. Everett Teaford fanned six while scattering two runs on four hits and two walks over 5.1 innings. Louis Coleman (2.0 IP, 2 H, 1 BB, 5 SO) lowered his ERA to 1.23 (1 ER in 7.1 IP).

NW Arkansas Naturals (16-15)

NW Arkansas 6, Tulsa 2

HR: Wil Myers (10)

The Naturals moved to 3-0 in a 4-game series. Wil Myers went 2-for-5, extending his hitting streak to 14 games (.382, 21-for-55). The homer was his fourth in his last five games. He leads the league in average (.339), is second in home runs and third with 23 RBI. Eric Duncan added three hits and a run scored. Justin Marks struck out seven while limiting Tulsa to a run on five hits and a walk over 5.1 innings. The series finished with a matinee on Tuesday. Greg Holland started in a rehab outing.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (12-17)

Wilmington was off on Monday. They host Lynchburg (Braves) this evening.

Kane County Cougars (14-17)

HR: Murray Watts (6)

Kane County dropped to 1-2 at Beloit. Starter Scott Alexander allowed five runs (three earned) on six hits and two walks over 5.0 innings. His ERA rose to 1.75 (5 ER in 25.2 IP). Jason Mitchell followed with 3.0 scoreless frames. Murray Watts delivered the lone run with his team-leading sixth homer in the sixth inning.
