Omaha defeated Round Rock and enters the season's final day in a tie with Memphis as the Redbirds lost in 11 innings. The Storm Chasers must win today and have Memphis lose in order to reach the postseason. Chris Dwyer worked around three hits and seven walks, allowing a run over 6.0 innings. Johnny Giavotella was 3-for-3 with a walk, an RBI and two runs. Paulo Orlando hit a three-run homer in the third.

NW Arkansas Naturals (34-35 2nd half, 59-80 overall)

The Naturals lost a pitchers' duel at Arkansas. Sugar Ray Marimon limited the Travelers to two runs, two hits and two walks over 7.0 innings. He fanned seven and allowed both runs in the second. Angel Franco recorded a double, boosting his average to .294 (83-for-282). Orlando Calixte reached three times (single, two walks).

Wilmington Blue Rocks (30-39 2nd half, 63-76 overall)

Three Wilmington hurlers combined on a shutout. Leonel Santiago held the Dash to three hits and a walk over 6.0 innings. Daniel Hernandez fanned four while scattering three hits over 2.0 IP and Andrew Edwards earned his first save in High-A. He was KC's 19th-round pick in June. Yem Prades delivered an RBI single in the third, scoring Yowill Espinal. Both Prades and Espinal finished 2-for-3.

The Legends lost a pair of games at home. Terrance Gore, Chad Johnson and Ramon Torres had two hits apiece in the completion of Saturday's game. Miguel Almonte fanned eight while allowing the lone run over 6.0 innings in Sunday's regularly scheduled game.

Idaho Falls Chukars (18-13 2nd half, 37-32 overall)

Orem's Michael Fish hit a pair of two-run homers, including a decisive shot in the seventh off of a rehabbing Noel Arguelles. Michael Antonio, also on a rehab stint, was 3-for-5 with two doubles, two RBI and two runs for the Chukars. Daniel Rockett added two hits and three RBI.
