Royals offer Opening Day ticket opportunity program
Register at royals.com/openingday for chance to be at Kauffman Stadium on April 4
KANSAS CITY -- Want to be at the Royals' home opener on April 4 against the White Sox?
You can have a chance to buy a seat or two to that game, annually a sellout, by registering for the team's online Opening Day ticket opportunity program at royals.com/openingday.
Registration is open until 5 p.m. CT on Monday, Feb. 17. Later that week, a random drawing will be held to purchase up to two tickets for the 3:10 p.m. Friday opener at Kauffman Stadium. Winners will be notified on or about Feb. 24 by email.
In addition, the selected applicants also will have an opportunity to buy tickets to any other Royals home game before the general public in a special presale on Feb. 27 on royals.com.
Fans also can be guaranteed Opening Day tickets by buying a full-season, half-season or 21-game ticket plan. The 10 Game Pick 'Em Pack also includes an option to purchase an Opening Day seat.
