BALTIMORE -- Wednesday's Royals-Orioles game was delayed by rain with two out and none on in the top of the third inning.
The Orioles were leading, 3-0, thanks in part to a two-run home run from Caleb Joseph in the second inning.
Left-hander Jason Vargas started for the Royals, while right-hander Jeremy Hellickson started for the O's.
