Royals Recall INF Orlando Calixte; Option OF Reymond Fuentes

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (April 18, 2015) - The Kansas City Royals announced today that they have recalled infielder Orlando Calixte from Triple-A Omaha. In a corresponding roster move, the club has optioned outfielder Reymond Fuentes to Omaha.

Calixte, 23, has played in seven games for the Storm Chasers this season, hitting his first Triple-A home run last night in a 5-3 loss to New Orleans. He was originally signed by KC as a non-drafted free agent on August 28, 2010 out of the Dominican Republic.
