The Kansas City Royals announced today that the club has reinstated right-handed pitcher Chris Young from the 15-day disabled list (right forearm strain). Young will be in uniform for today's game against the Chicago White Sox. To make room on the 25-man roster, the club has optioned left-handed pitcher Brian Flynn to Omaha (AAA).
