Royals send RHP Luke Farrell to Dodgers for cash consider

The Kansas City Royals announced today that they have traded right-handed pitcher Luke Farrell to the Los Angeles Dodgers in exchange for cash considerations. The 26-year-old righty was designated for assignment on Monday.
Farrell made his Major League debut on July 1, in the first game of a split doubleheader with the Minnesota Twins. He pitched the first 2.2 innings, taking a no-decision in a game KC won 11-6. He's spent a majority of the season at Omaha (AAA), where he was 7-4 with a 4.07 ERA in 17 appearances and 16 starts.
