Royals, Salvy give fans access with Snapchat

Though the Royals ultimately came up short in a 12-3 loss to the D-backs on Friday, the reigning World Series champions provided fans with an in-depth look at the team's preparations for the game, courtesy of Snapchat.
As part of Major League Baseball Snapchat day, the Royals used the app to give fans a glimpse into a typical day at Spring Training. The league-wide event featured MLB and all 30 clubs publishing Snapchat stories throughout the day.
Kansas City's Snapchat story began with videos of the team stretching then tossing the ball around ahead of Friday's Cactus League showdown. It then continued with video of catcher -- and Snapchat expert -- Salvador Perez, also known as "salvyp13" on the app, attempting to line up the perfect selfie.
The club's story concluded with an in-dugout shot of the Royals taking the field to the cheers of the crowd at Surprise Stadium.
