The Royals will celebrate their 2015 World Series title with a wardrobe change during the Opening Series against the New York Mets at Kauffman Stadium on April 3 and 5.
The defending champs will wear specially designed "Golden Threads" Majestic jerseys and New Era caps. The home white jerseys will feature a world champions patch on the sleeve, and the royal-blue caps will have a gold KC on the front and a 2015 World Series champions logo on the side.

The official New Era caps and Majestic jerseys will be available for purchase online at the Royals Shop and at the Majestic Team Store at Kauffman Stadium from March 24-30.
The special uniforms will coincide with the unveiling of the club's championship banner and other pregame ceremonies prior to the 7:30 p.m. CT matchup on April 3. The Royals will break out the new uniforms again for the April 5 series finale. They'll receive their championship rings before that game.
