NEW YORK -- Brewers left fielder left Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Yankees as part of an eighth-inning double-switch with a recurrence of the left calf injury that sidelined him for most of May and June.
Manager Craig Counsell, however, characterized the matter as minor.
"It wasn't too serious. He was just cramping a little bit," Counsell said. "He actually wanted to stay in. I just thought it was best at that point to get [] in there."

Braun was on the 10-day disabled list from May 11-21 and May 26-June 27 with a calf strain. Including his 0-for-4 game on Saturday, Braun is 10-for-40 with five doubles and three home runs since coming off the DL.
