Twins option LaMarre to Triple-A, recall Busenitz

The Twins optioned outfielder Ryan LaMarre to Triple-A Rochester. Minnesota announced the move Friday, after its game against the White Sox was postponed due to inclement weather

In a corresponding move, Minnesota recalled right-handed pitcher Alan Busenitz from Triple-A Rochester on Sunday. Busenitz made two appearances for the Red Wings, going 0-1 with a 3.38 ERA.

LaMarre had played in six games for the Twins, hitting 4-for-8 with an RBI and a run scored. The 29-year-old is in his first season with the Twins' organization, and has also appeared in stints with the A's, Red Sox and Reds over the past three years.
