White Sox ink Raburn to Minors contract

CHICAGO -- The White Sox announced they have signed outfielder to a Minor League deal, and he'll report to Triple-A Charlotte.
Raburn has enjoyed success against his new organization, slugging 20 of his 91 career home runs against the White Sox. He has also hit .296 with 82 RBIs and owns a .518 slugging percentage in 122 games against Chicago.
Raburn -- who turns 36 on April 17 -- has played parts of 11 seasons in the Majors. Last season, he hit .220 with nine home runs in 113 games with the Rockies. He was picked up in the offseason by the Reds, who released him March 27.
