Saturday's Mariners game virtually sold out

Ken Griffey Jr. Hall of Fame induction ceremony will be carried live on ROOT SPORTS®, 710 ESPN Seattle and streamed on mariners.com

The Seattle Mariners announced today that the Saturday, August 10 game against the Milwaukee Brewers, at which Ken Griffey Jr. will be inducted into the Mariners Hall of Fame, is virtually sold out.

Only scattered single tickets are still available. In the event there are returned tickets they become immediately available on mariners.com. Fans still hoping to get tickets for Saturday's game are encouraged to check the website often.

The pregame Hall of Fame induction ceremony will start at 5:30pm on Saturday. For those unable to attend the game, the ceremony will be carried live on ROOT SPORTS and 710 ESPN Seattle. It will also be streamed on mariners.com.

There are plenty of good seats still available for the games on Friday and Sunday. Friday's game features a Hall of Fame themed postgame fireworks show, and Sunday is African American Heritage Day, at which several noted members of Seattle's African American community will be honored during a pregame ceremony. Notables include former Mariners Alvin Davis and Dave Henderson, NBA legends Fred Brown and Bill Russell, and Herb Simpson, the last known surviving member of the Seattle Steelheads Negro Leagues team.

First pitch for Friday's game is 7:10pm. The fireworks show will start approximately 15 minutes after the final out. Sunday's game starts at 1:10pm.
