Padres up next: For the second time in a week, left-hander Eric Stults will get a shot at the Rangers, as the Padres face Texas at 12:05 p.m. PT on Saturday at the Peoria Sports Complex. Stults, who appears to be the leading candidate for the No. 4 spot in the starting rotation, is scheduled to go four innings in his third spring appearance. He allowed two runs on two hits in three innings Monday against the Rangers in Surprise. Also, there's a good chance catcher Nick Hundley will get the start. Hundley is hitting .524 in his first 21 at-bats in Cactus League play.
