Smoke signals

• All six of Cleveland's runs on Saturday came with two outs. The Tribe entered Sunday with 145 two-out runs this season, tops in the American League.

• The Indians have gone 21 straight games without a save. Prior to Joe Smith's blown save on Saturday, Cleveland had gone 17 consecutive games without a save opportunity.

• With Swisher out of the lineup on Sunday, Mark Reynolds started at first base and John McDonald played third base in his first start since being acquired by Cleveland on June 10. Reynolds last started at first on May 21.

• The Tribe announced that it had signed two more Draft picks on Sunday: 22nd-round selection Ben Heller and 25th-round selection Cole Sulser. Both players are right-handed pitchers taken out of college. Heller attended Olivet Nazarene University in Illinois, while Sulser went to Dartmouth.
