SportsNet LA plans 75 games in Spanish

GLENDALE, Ariz. -- SportsNet LA will produce 75 Dodgers games in Spanish this season, a club record. In 2015, SportsNet LA will increase the number of Spanish-language telecasts to 150.

In addition, the network announced that Dodgers legend and longtime coach Manny Mota and broadcast veteran Jorge Jarrín will return to call Dodgers games in Spanish on TV for a third season.

"The Dodgers have an incredible Spanish-speaking fan base, and we are ecstatic to be able to provide them with more live games in their language than they've ever had before because of our new television network, SportsNet LA," said Stan Kasten, Dodgers president. "It's fantastic that Manny Mota and Jorge Jarrín, who we're so excited to have calling Dodger games once again, will be able to speak directly to even more Dodger fans this season."

The inaugural Spanish-language telecast will be the Dodgers' home opener on Friday, April 4, against the Giants. SportsNet LA's Spanish-language productions will be called on-site at Dodger Stadium specifically for a Spanish-speaking audience, featuring distinct graphics and audio.
