Standing room only tickets available this Friday for Opening Day

Standing room only tickets for Opening Day will be go on sale beginning at 1:00 p.m. this Friday, March 22. Tickets will be $17.00 in advance and $21.00 the day of the game, when the Braves take on their National League East rivals, the Philadelphia Phillies at 7:10 p.m. A few reserved seats are still available for purchase, as are multi-game packages that include Opening Day seats.

With large crowds expected, fans heading out to Turner Field are strongly encouraged to arrive early as to not miss any of the pregame ceremonies including a performance by country music star Rodney Atkins. Turner Field gates will open 2 1/2 hours before first pitch.

With limited parking available, fans are urged to take alternate transportation to Turner Field. The MARTA Braves shuttle begins its run 90 minutes prior to first pitch from the Underground Atlanta/Five Points MARTA station to Turner Field until one hour after final out. For those fans who may want to arrive at the ballpark before the MARTA Braves shuttle begins its game operation MARTA recommends catching any one of three other available bus routes - the #32, the #49 or the #55. All three bus lines may be caught at the Five Points MARTA station and all three routes stop at points adjacent (i.e. Hank Aaron Drive, Pollard Blvd) to Turner Field. For more information on these routes please visit www.itsmarta.com.

Turner Field parking maps can be found at www.braves.com/parking along with detailed directions, parking and traffic information.
