Trahan records first multi-homer game for Cougars

Grand slam helps D-Backs No. 16 prospect notch career-high 6 RBIs

Stryker Trahan recorded a career-high six RBIs on two home runs -- including a third-inning grand slam -- in a 2-for-4 night for Class A Kane County on Monday.

The D-backs No. 16 prospect had never hit two homers in a Minor League game before Monday and upped his season totals to 10 dingers with 36 RBIs. His slam came off Tyler Mahle with one out in the third frame and he launched a two-run homer off Jeremy Kivel in the sixth inning.

Arizona is growing accustomed to Trahan's power. The D-backs drafted him it the first round in the 2012 Draft and he's smacked 44 homers in the Minors. Trahan's average is above .250 for the first time since April 10 and has hit in six of the past seven contests.
