Tepesch set for Minors rehab start

CHICAGO -- Right-hander Nick Tepesch threw live batting practice before the Rangers-White Sox game on Saturday at U.S. Cellular Field and was green-lighted for a Minor League rehab start.

Tepesch, on the disabled list since July 6 with right elbow inflammation, will throw 35-40 pitches for Double-A Frisco on Tuesday.

"No pain," Tepesch said following his 43-pitch session. "That's really the biggest thing. Just continue to go forward."

The Rangers will determine the next step following the right-hander's start at Frisco.

In other rehab news, right-handed reliever Alexi Ogando (right shoulder inflammation) felt fine after throwing from 60 feet on Saturday.
