Texas Rangers do not renew contracts of coaches Dave Anderson and Jackie Moore for 2014

The Texas Rangers today announced that the contracts of first base coach Dave Anderson and bench coach Jackie Moore will not be renewed for the 2014 season.

The remainder of manager Ron Washington's major league coaching staff, bullpen coach Andy Hawkins, pitching coach Mike Maddux, hitting coach Dave Magadan, and third base coach Gary Pettis is expected to return for 2014.

Moore and Anderson both joined the major league coaching staff in 2009. Moore has served as the bench coach the last five years. Anderson was the team's third base coach from 2009-12 before moving to first base this past season.
