The Texas Rangers today announced that the club has entered into a multi-year partnership with TXU Energy.
 
Under the agreement, TXU Energy becomes the Official and Exclusive Energy Provider for the Texas Rangers and Globe Life Park in Arlington.

As part of the partnership, TXU Energy will work with the Texas Rangers to help fans "experience the energy" at home games. TXU Energy will be the presenting sponsor of each night's starting lineup in-park and also will bring the dynamic TXU Energy Meter to Globe Life Park to help build fan excitement.
 
In addition, TXU Energy is the presenting sponsor for the Rangers' opening weekend of 2016, including the season's first post-game fireworks show on Friday, April 15 against Baltimore. The first 15,000 fans entering Globe Life Park for that 7:05 p.m. game will receive a replica 2015 A.L. West Champions flag presented by TXU Energy.
