Texas Rangers outright RHP Tyler Wagner to Round Rock

The Texas Rangers today announced that right-handed pitcher Tyler Wagner has cleared waivers and been assigned outright to Triple-A Round Rock.

Oakland, Calif. - The Texas Rangers today announced that right-handed pitcher Tyler Wagner has cleared waivers and been assigned outright to Triple-A Round Rock.
Wagner, who was acquired by Texas on a waiver claim from Arizona on November 18, 2016, was optioned to Round Rock out of spring training on March 20. He is 0-2 with a 7.71 ERA in three starts with Round Rock in 2017.
With today's move, Texas has 38 players on its Major League roster.
In addition, Texas signed infielder Josh Wilson to a minor league contract and assigned him to Round Rock. Wilson, 36, spent the entire 2016 campaign with the York Revolution of the independent Atlantic League, batting .255 (107-420) with 8 home runs and 39 RBI over 120 games. He last appeared in the majors with the Detroit Tigers in 2015, hitting .316 (12-38) over 21 contests.
Wilson was a member of the Rangers Opening Day roster in 2014 and played in 24 games for Texas before spending the balance of the season at Round Rock. The versatile infielder has appeared 431 major league games over 8 seasons with Arizona, Seattle, Tampa Bay, Texas, San Diego, Washington, Detroit, Florida, and Milwaukee.
