Texas Rangers prepare for Santa's arrival at Globe Life Park

The Texas Rangers today announced plans for the annual holiday-themed ballpark tours.
Anxiously Awaiting Santa Tours begin tomorrow, Tuesday, December 6 and run through Saturday, December 10. The holiday festivities will return Tuesday, December 13 and conclude Friday, December 16.
Fans will see behind the scenes as Globe Life Park decks the halls for Santa's arrival, and kids will have the opportunity to participate in a special story time and write a letter to Santa to mail from the Texas Rangers "North Pole" mailbox.
Tours will leave every hour on the hour from 10 a.m. until the last one departs at 4 p.m. Cost is $15 for adults, $12 for high school, college, or senior citizens, and $8 for children ages 4 through 14. Children under 3 are free.
The Rangers will then welcome Santa on Saturday, December 17 with a special day of Santa's Arrival tours featuring Santa's favorite spots in the park. After visiting locations such as Santa's Press Box Workshop and his personal locker in the Rangers clubhouse, guests will meet Santa in the KidsZone. Santa and Rangers Captain will be on hand to pose for photos with attendees. A special Rangers souvenir for fans, cookie decorating, and arts and crafts will also highlight the festivities.
Doors open at 11 a.m. for the Santa's Arrival event. Tours will depart every hour on the hour, with the last one departing at 4 p.m. Tours for the December 17 event will cost $18. Children under age 3 are free.
Fans participating in the tours may park in Lot B and enter through the Tours Gate, located off Randol Mill Road on the south side of the ballpark.
