The Art of Winning exhibition opens at the Reds Museum

CINCINNATI - A new temporary exhibit at the Reds Hall of Fame and Museum is open featuring baseball-inspired artwork created by amateur and professional artists from across the country.

The Art of Winning features 26 pieces displayed throughout the museum and include photography, paintings, illustration and mixed media.

"The Art of Winning show compliments the museum's efforts to tell the story of Reds baseball, past and present," said Rick Walls, executive director of the Reds Hall of Fame & Museum. "Each submission from professional and amateur artists has its own unique story and will be a real treat for our visitors."

At the Reds Hall of Fame, fans can for their favorite entry through March 29. The winner will be announced March 30 at a special event celebrating the artists and the exhibition.

The top vote-getter will receive a $1,000 first price. Non-cash prizes will be awarded to 2nd-5th places.

Museum admission is $10 for adults, $8 for students and seniors (60 and older) and $6 for active military and veterans with valid military ID.

Operating hours are Tuesday-Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the offseason and then seven days a week April-October.
