The Baseball Tomorrow Fund (BTF) announced today its grant award to the New Brighton Area
Recreation Commission in the amount of $59,150 for the renovation of Memorial Field. The renovated
baseball field will benefit the local high school teams, American Legion Baseball and youth travel teams in
the New Brighton community, serving approximately 500 players.

In conjunction with the BTF grant, The Toro Company donated turf equipment to help the grounds
crew keep the field in great playing condition. As a “preferred supplier of turf maintenance equipment and
irrigation solutions” to BTF, Toro offers discounts on products to eligible BTF grant recipients, and donates
up to $15,000 in equipment to a selected BTF grant recipient in need each year.

The announcement is made in conjunction with the celebration of the completion of the project, as
the New Brighton Area Recreation Commission hosts a field dedication ceremony on Thursday, May 2nd.
Among those in attendance at today’s ceremony, will be New Brighton Area School Superintendent Dr.
David C. Pietro, New Brighton Borough Manager Larry Morley, New Brighton Area Recreation Commission
President Donald Mittner, and members of the New Brighton Area School District.

“The Baseball Tomorrow Fund is pleased to support the continued growth of New Brighton Area
Recreation Commission’s youth baseball and softball programs,” said Bradley. “We are especially happy and
grateful to partner with The Toro Company to help to provide quality athletic facilities to this deserving
community and many others around the country.”

“The New Brighton Area Recreation Commission would like to express the community’s appreciation
for the grant awarded by the Baseball Tomorrow Fund to assist in the renovation of Memorial Field,” said
Superintendent Pietro. “We would also like to recognize The Toro Company for their generous field
equipment donation that will aid in the field’s continued maintenance. These organizations’ contributions
have helped to make Memorial Field a first class youth facility.”
