The San Francisco Giants have teamed up with Uber as the as the Preferred Ride partner to and from AT&T Park for the 2016 season.

The San Francisco Giants have teamed up with Uber as the as the Preferred Ride partner to and from AT&T Park for the 2016 season.
All season long, Uber and the Giants will be celebrating San Francisco by making the experience of getting to and from the park easier, delivering surprises to riders and drivers on game days and reminding fans they have the option for a safe ride home at the push of the button with Uber.
On Thursday, April 7, to celebrate Opening Day in San Francisco, Uber is bringing a taste of the ballpark, on demand, to baseball fans who are not able to get to the game. Giants fans will have the opportunity to experience some of their game-day favorites during lunch through uberEATS, including $1 hot dogs.
"The San Francisco Giants are excited to kick off a partnership with Uber. We look forward to working with Uber to help make it easier, safer, faster and in some cases, more fun, to get to and from AT&T Park. We are excited to add yet another homegrown company to our family of partners," said Jason Pearl, senior vice president of business development.
Other elements of the partnership include the implementation of Uber driver partner appreciation programs, highlighting UberMILITARY activities and outreach to Uber riders through Giants giveaways and incentives as well as collaborating with UberEATS.

"This season, we will be working to make it easier to get to and from the games safely, honor some of our all-star driver partners, and spread the Giants experience beyond the park."
