  • Bark in the Park Night. Bring your dog to the first-ever Bark in the Park event at Citizens Bank Park, supporting the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), being held exclusively in the Budweiser Rooftop Bleachers. Limited tickets still available and must be purchased in advance - no walkup sales.
    • All fans can participate in the event by donating pet items such as blankets, canned dog and cat food and paper towels at all entrance gates.
    • Representatives from PAWS will also be on site inside the First Base and Left Field Gate with adoptable dogs and additional information on their organization.
  • Baseball Academy Reunion. Youngsters from the Delaware Valley who participated in Phillies Baseball Academy will parade around the field prior to the game. First Ball: Representing all Academy youngsters, Nick Luther, Cardinal O'Hara High School site.
  • First Ball: Representing Nike, Veronica Lichtenwalner (Kutztown, Pa.).
  • Pregame Performance: Clayton High School Marching Band.

National Anthem: The South Vocal Ensemble of Council Rock High School South.

  • Patriot Day. Members of the Philadelphia Police and Fire Departments will present the 50 state flags in a ceremony on-field.
    • Police and Firefighters Celebration: Fans who purchase tickets through this promotion will receive an exclusive Phillies Police and Firefighters t-shirt. Net proceeds for this event will benefit local Police and Firefighter charities.
    • Color Guard: An All-Service Military Color Guard, members of the Philadelphia Police Department Ceremonial Color Guard and Philadelphia Fire Department Color Guard.
    • National Anthem: Senior Airmen Eric Anderson, USAF.
    • God Bless America: Officer Nate Fulton, Phila. Police Dept.
    • America the Beautiful: TSGT Karen Blackburn, USAF.

  • Check Presentation by Scotty McCreery, American Idol season 10 winner, to the Phillies RBI program. He will also sing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame".
  • Signing the Anthem: Deaf Choir.
  • Special Welcome: Deaf Awareness Group and Adult Congenital Heart Network.
