Tickets for Texas Rangers exhibition game with the Mexico City Red Devils go on sale Friday at texasrangers.com

Arlington, Texas - The Texas Rangers today announced that tickets for the club's exhibition game with the Mexico City Red Devils (Diablos Rojos del Mexico) on Thursday, March 28 at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington will go on sale at 9:00 a.m. this Friday, February 22 at texasrangers.com.

Tickets for the game, the Rangers only 2013 exhibition game in Arlington, are priced at $20.00 for all Lower Level seats, $15.00 for all Lexus Club Level seats, and $10.00 for all Upper Level seats. The tickets for the exhibition game will be available exclusively on-line until March 2, when they can also be purchased by phone and in person.

This will mark the second consecutive year that the Rangers have played the Red Devils team in Arlington. Texas defeated Mexico City, 13-4 before a crowd of 30,829 on April 2, 2012. It was the first time that the Rangers had played a Mexican League team in Arlington. Special pre-game ceremonies are scheduled prior to the game on March 28.   

The exhibition, which will start at 7:05 p.m., will be one of three games the Rangers will play in Texas to conclude their 2013 spring training schedule. The club will play the San Diego Padres in the Big League Weekend series at the Alamodome in San Antonio on Friday (7:05) and Saturday (1:05), March 29-30 before opening the 2013 regular season in Houston against the Astros on Sunday, March 31.

The Rangers' major league club will fly back to Texas after playing the Los Angeles Angels in Tempe on Wednesday, March 27. Texas will use all minor league players for the club's final Cactus League game on Thursday, March 28 against the Arizona Diamondbacks at Surprise Stadium.   

The Red Devils, who are managed by Miguel Ojeda, finished fourth in the league's North Division with a 61-52 record in 2012. Mexico City was defeated by Monterrey in the first round of the playoff in four games. Diablos Rojos del Mexico have won 15 Mexican League championships in their history, the most of any club.

Individual tickets for all 2013 Texas Rangers regular season games will go on sale on Saturday, March 2 at texasrangers.com, by phone at 972-RANGERS, and at the Rangers Ballpark in Arlington First Base ticket office.
