Tigers announce minor league assignments for 2012

The Detroit Tigers today announced the minor league field staff assignments for the 2012 season.

Kevin Bradshaw (field coordinator), Joe DePastino (catching coordinator), Toby Harrah (hitting coordinator), Brian Peterson (performance enhancement instructor), Gene Roof (outfield and baserunning coordinator), Dustin Campbell (medical coordinator), Chris Walter (strength and conditioning coordinator), Steve Chase (assistant strength and conditioning coordinator), Dr. George Carlo (performance coach), Sharon Lockwood (coordinator of international player programs), Lizedny Torres (ESL/cultural assimilation instructor) and Bob Frutchey (minor league clubhouse manager) will all return in their respective positions for the 2012 season.

Al Nipper has joined the Tigers organization and he will serve as the minor league pitching coordinator during the 2012 season.
