CHICAGO -- The start of Wednesday afternoon's contest between the White Sox and Tigers at U.S. Cellular Field was delayed due to inclement weather in the area. The estimated first-pitch time is now 2:50 p.m. ET.
Although there was no actual rain as the scheduled first-pitch time of 2:10 approached, there was lightning and what was thought to be fast-moving storms in the area. José Quintana is scheduled to start for the White Sox opposite Tigers right-hander Aníbal Sánchez.
