Tim Tebow is catching fire once again.
The Columbia Fireflies outfielder went 3-for-4 with his first career triple on Wednesday afternoon and barely missed his third home run of the season when he drove a ball deep to left field in his final at-bat. The performance marked his third multihit game since Friday.

Tebow, who won the 2007 Heisman Trophy and is a former NFL quarterback, got off to a hot start to his baseball career, clubbing two home runs in his first three games for the Fireflies. But during the middle of the month, he saw his batting average drop from .235 on April 10 to .156 on April 19.
That's when Tebow began to turn a corner. Over his past six games, the 29-year-old has gone 9-for-20 (.450) with three doubles, a triple and a walk while raising his season average to .246.
Tebow also showed off his arm Wednesday, throwing out Asheville shortstop Jose Gomez at second base trying to stretch a single to a double.
