WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -- A change in venue did not result in a change of fortunes for the Mets' suddenly scalding offense, which raced out to a four-run lead in the second inning of Sunday's 8-2 win over the Phillies at BB&T Ballpark at Historic Bowman Field in second annual MLB Little League Classic presented by Geico.
The weekend's star, Todd Frazier, woke up at 6 a.m. ET for a day full of festivities at the Little League World Series. That did not stop him from sparking the rally with a leadoff single off right-hander Nick Pivetta, who then allowed singles to Austin Jackson, Jose Bautista and Kevin Plawecki. The last two of those plated runs.

Following a Jason Vargas sacrifice bunt, Amed Rosario added two more runs with another single off Pivetta, who recovered with a caught stealing and a strikeout to end the rally.
It was another big inning for the Mets, who enjoyed a nine-run sixth on Wednesday in Baltimore, and a 10-run fifth the following day in Philadelphia.
