LAKELAND, Fla. -- 's RBI double highlighted a six-run Orioles third inning off Mike Pelfrey and , sending Baltimore and starter cruising to a 7-2 win Monday afternoon at Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium.
Pelfrey, starting in place of injured , pitched two crisp innings before yielding hits to five of the six Orioles he faced in the third. Mancini's double, a line drive ripped into the left-field corner, was the lone extra-base hit of the bunch. Three walks and a single off Molleken brought the inherited runners in as Detroit pitchers continued their week-long struggle with command.
"The way we've pitched has been awful," manager Brad Ausmus said of a staff that has given up seven or more runs in seven of its last nine games. "It's spring and a lot of guys clearly aren't in midseason form, but we've got to pitch better than this. Even in Spring Training, we've got to pitch better than this."
Bundy, by contrast, was dominant, holding the Tigers to two hits over three scoreless innings with three strikeouts. He followed up back-to-back 94-mph fastballs by dropping a nasty breaking ball on for a called third strike to end the third, then struck out Alex Avila and after J.D. Martinez doubled leading off the second.

, a starter at Class A West Michigan last year, provided a bright spot for the Tigers in relief with two hitless innings on a walk and three strikeouts.
First baseman crushed a two-run homer off O's right-hander in the ninth to get the Tigers on the board.
