Twins announce All-Star Ticket Hunt

Fans get chance to win FanFest tickets, signed Mauer ball

Baseball fans in the Twin Cities will have a chance to use their feet and their wits as part of an All-Star scavenger hunt. The Twins announced Tuesday that fans can participate in the T-Mobile All-Star FanFest Ticket Hunt, an initiative that will begin at 11 a.m. CT on Wednesday.

A series of clues and passwords will be released one-by-one through the MLB All-Star Game Twitter account (@AllStarGame) and the Twins account (@Twins), and each clue will lead fans to one of six locations in Minneapolis and St. Paul. The first fan to show up to each location and know the correct password will win a package that includes four tickets to each of the five days of All-Star FanFest.

A Joe Mauer autographed baseball will also be part of the prize package, as will four T-Mobile JUMP! Lane Passes for each day and four T-Mobile All-Star FanFest Eat and Play Combo packs. At each location, second, third, fourth and fifth runner-ups will get a pair of T-Mobile All-Star FanFest tickets.

And if you can't take to the streets, you can still win a prize package by retweeting a message shared by @AllStarGame. Fans can visit AllStarGame.com for details on eligibility and prizes.

The All-Star FanFest will take place at the Minneapolis Convention Center and will run from July 11-15, and it host more than 400,000 square feet of baseball-related attractions for fans of all ages. There will be clinics hosted by former and current players, batting cages for fans to test their swing and an opportunity to get autographs and pose for pictures with the World Series trophy.

Tickets for FanFest cost $35 for adults and $30 for children ages 12 and under, senior citizens and military personnel. Tickets are sold on a timed-entry basis, so fans are encouraged to purchase tickets early to obtain preferred entry times.
